  • Post-acute and rehabilitative care stay for only $200/day
  • Home assessments before discharge and recommendations for home arrangements and therapy goals
  • Accompaniment by Sierra Winds therapist or representative on the first post-operative physician visit

Though similar in terms of helping to restore strength and mobility, occupational therapy helps people adapt to their social and physical environment through training in the activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, eating and grooming; activities for memory, orientation and cognitive integration; and exercises to maintain normal joint movement to reduce the effects of arthritis or other conditions.

When you’re ready for discharge, your care team will work with you to develop a care plan that determines any equipment needs and in-home services you may require. You may also visit the rehabilitation area on campus to continue outpatient therapy services.
