Director of Nursing

Qualifications/Duties: RN currently licensed in the State of Arizona with 5-7 years nursing experience. Current CPR certification and evidence of Fingerprint Clearance required. Geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing. Supervisory experience preferred. In-depth experience and knowledge working with MDS computer software. Experience with the MDS transmittal process and understanding of regulations impacting the MDS. Ability to establish priorities and organize employee activities to maximize use of available resources and minimize expenditures of time, energy and money.

RESIDENT SERVICES CNA

Status: Non-Exempt | 1 Full Time

Qualifications/Duties: Successful completion of a state approved geriatric nursing assistant training program with an active certification as a Nursing Assistant. Previous experience working in geriatrics in long-term care, home health, or other health care setting. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively with residents, family and staff, and perform simple arithmetic, and document care given.

ADON

Status: Exempt | 1 Full Time

FITNESS AND WELLNESS COORDINATOR

Qualifications/Duties: College degree in recreational therapy preferred. Must have and maintain current Adult CPR, AED and First Aid Certification. Current ACSM Certification or current NCCA-accredited, health/fitness-related certifications (e.g., ACE, NCSF, NSCA, Cooper Institute) Certification in senior fitness/strength training or two years of appropriate professional experience in geriatrics or recreation.
Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.

IT TECH

Status: Non-Exempt | 1 Full Time

Qualifications/Duties: Minimum 1-3 years equivalent experience in troubleshooting and repair of computer systems and networks, Windows and other software products.

CNA

Status: Non-Exempt | Always accepting applications

Qualifications/Duties: High school diploma/GED required. Certified as a Nursing Assistant. Previous experience in hospital or nursing home preferred but not required. LPN/RN

NIGHT CHARGE NURSE

COOK

Status: Non-Exempt | 1 Full Time

Qualifications/Duties: Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English and communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to understand measurements and conversions. Experienced in all areas of cooking and food preparation. Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or club with fine dining preferred. Ability to plan and organize work, to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications and standards. Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance. Some knowledge of nutrition and diet desirable. Free of any contagious diseases that may be transmitted through food or beverage substances, as specified annually in the American Disabilities Act and as evidenced by tuberculosis tests and physical examinations as required by law.

SERVER

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively. Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train. Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests. Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers. Requires courtesy, tact and graciousness.

HC SERVER

Status: Non-Exempt | 2 Part Time
Days: Vary/Weekends

Qualifications/Duties: 1 year of food service experience at a nursing home, or similar establishment preferred. Ability to speak, understand and follow written and oral instructions in English, communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic. Ability to plan and organize work in accordance with diet orders, and interpret specifications and standards. Ability to work in close cooperation with patients, residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and subordinates. Fundamental understanding of therapeutic diets, sanitation, and cleanliness. Free of any contagious diseases that may be transmitted through food or beverage substances, as required by law.

HOUSEKEEPER/LAUNDRY AIDE

Status: Non-Exempt | 2 Full Time

Qualifications/Duties: Previous housekeeping/laundry experience preferred, but not required. Requires fundamental knowledge of housekeeping equipment, cleaning chemicals and sanitation techniques. Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English and communicate effectively; perform simple math.

SECURITY GUARDS

One year experience in security preferred. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic.

MAINTENANCE

High school education or equivalency. Technical schooling and/or background preferred. Previous general maintenance experience necessary. Must be knowledgeable in carpentry, masonry, plumbing and electricity. Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and performs simple arithmetic. Free of any contagious diseases and physically capable of performing maintenance work, evidenced by tuberculosis tests and physical examinations as required by law. Must be able to maintain a courteous, friendly and helpful attitude with the residents at all times.
